Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Born in Stavanger on June 15, 1996 and professionally known as Aurora. The name of her can be spelled as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well reviewed by various music websites. She has recorded several high-profile covers, such as Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) that are widely loved. Katy Perry posted a video that she supported Runaway. This brought her some attention. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' first musical moment was when she stumbled across a miniature piano that was in her basement, and being fascinated at the sound it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes urged her to pursue music for development of her own, not for the purpose of making a living or as a hobby. They advised her to compose. She has cited renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan for inspiration, as well as a love for Bjork's style. Responding to her mother's suggestions that she shouldn't be trying to become famous with the songs she writes, but rather be aware of the significance of them as well as their contribution to society. The mother of her child suggested that she perform her songs publicly so that people can see the importance of their work and how they impact the world. Her family didn't have any idea about it until she was fourteen. Aurora was not a goal. She says she just likes writing songs. According to her, she believes music can make anyone feel better.
